Dogs and Dolomites

So Prudence is still alive, and apparently that is quite an accomplishment given the level of her surgery. Whew!
Sadly Kelly's father passed away and this means the dogs "dad" won't be coming here to care for them. They are keeping Prudence in the care of the vet until Kelly returns later this week.
Another Whew!
Meanwhile, Georgia, the sweet tempered dog left at home, is quite confused about where everyone has gone. She is very sad. Sad enough that I will pet her and sweet talk to her. (then go right in and wash my hands) (:
That is a picture of her waiting for a dog treat.
I'm now paranoid enough that I'm watching her for any signs of wierdness.....to the point of questioning the consistency of her poop! Crazy!

On another note:
I've been browsing possible visit sites for Italy this summer. I'm so excited that Crazy is coming, and another friend will come for a visit too.
I'm all keen to spend some time in the Dolomites. Here are some sample pics. A year from now I would love to have my own!
Something to wish for and get me beyond the world of the sick dog.

on a last note..... I hate that I can't put the pictures where I want them. Oh well.

Oh, Georgia looks so sweet and, indeed, very sad. Good work with the doggies.

I'm so impressed with the kind deed you did for those dogs today. I know how much you "love" smelling like dog.
I'm pretty psyched about the Dolomites. It's going to be phenominal (however you spell that).

That dog does look sad but I think that kind of dog always looks like that. The Dolomites look awesome. I am so jealous but am so excited for you. You have earned a vacation like that with all this dog drama.

Thanks all of you. You are kind.
That kind of dog does always look a bit sad. Can't wait for the parents return!
Oh the working vacation. I will have to work, but it will be in Italy!!
With friends and family. Hurrah.

As for earning it...well the dog drama is nothing compared to what I have put up with over the last 7 years in my job.
Lets say I'm looking forward to it.
