Crazy is off to Chichen Itza and the mysteries of the Maya for her spring break. But I find myself equally fortunate in that Aleta just helped me buy a ticket to visit them in Colfax during my spring break.Now I've posted a grain silo image from Colfax so that you can compare it with monumental architecture of the Mayan Crazy will see in Mexico. Quite similar really. We are two fortunate chicks.
I'm thrilled to get out of the heat. (it is over 90 today) and see some green, but most of all it will be great to visit with Aleta and the fam.
Hopefully my painful back will survive the flights.

That sounds pretty dreamy all right. What a great shot of the rolling wheat fields! I know you'll have a great time with Aleta and fam. There's a LOT to be said for a good family visit. You be sure to take pictures too!

When is your spring break?? We are headed over that way at the end of ours and were planning to visit Aleta as well (although I had not mentioned it to her yet)
Not sound whiny, but at least your are going SOMEWHERE. Any where sounds good to me. Have fun.
Oh, I'm serious when I say I'm equally fortunate. I'm thrilled to go and think it will be as much fun as mexico for sure!
