In an attempt to avoid the myriad of things I need to accomplish I thought I'd rig up an excuse to post. I DO indeed hope to be getting out of here by Friday AM, and there is quite a sense of expediency to make my exit happen. (hence the burning rubber)
By no coincidence, it is also hot enough here that rubber burning is not a ridiculous thought. But I ramble.
The picture of the cactus is from Kelly's yard, and is included simply to fool you into thinking this is an area of boundless beauty. Some find it so.
My update in short.
Leave Tucson on Friday 8th, arrive house in ID on Sunday A.M.
Unpack truck on Monday, re-pack truck on Tuesday.
Leave for residency on Wed.. or thursday AM.
Begin month long residency on Friday 15th.
So far one of the bright spots of my time in WY will be seeing Alli and the girls. We hope to meet up in Casper. I've checked it out. what girl doesn't want to see the historic Oregon trail!

Burning rubber aside...I can't wait to see you albeit shortly before you head to the wilds of WY. Good luck with the mountain of things that will need to be done before you can actually burn said rubber...
