Mts for Alli

Allison and her girls were up this weekend. She finished a beautiful picture board for mom to use as her grandkids picture wall.
Anyway, Alli asked me to take a picture of Mt McCaleb from Randy and Ann's backyard so she could show the people in her new Colorado home what close mountains looked like. (apparently people kept bragging about the beautiful mountains to her... and they are suspiciously far away)

So here are the pics I took for Alli.
I think I will do one more Wales post and that will be the end of the travel saga. But for today..... snow on the Lost River Range.

These are great photos and I forgot how close the mountains are there. Wow. I have to tell you the book I recommended is fiction. I prefer actual accounts of Holocaust survivors but this book is so good I will make an exception. So I am behind... when/why did Allison move to Colorado?

Allison and Aaron are moving to the Denver area next week. Aaron got a nice promotion/job in his company. But, ): she will be far away as you all are!

Always good to be reminded of how beautiful the mountains are around Mackay! Great shots. Can't believe how much snow is already on top. But given recent drought maybe it really isn't that much??
