Scale

When faced with monumental (or minimal) space it is difficult to translate through pictures. Luckily I had Roberta along to demonstrate scale. I know , I know yet another post with a bazillion pictures. But, believe it or not this is the TIP of the scale iceberg. For that matter it is a the tip of the photo berg. ( For those of you who looked at my online photo album that too was a mere drop, to mix my metaphors)
Below you will find Roberta in a castle fireplace, a bathroom that was literally in a closet (check out the floor space around her feet), at waterfalls, and at abbeys. Look hard in some she is quite small. Really lets you see the actual scale though, along with some funny pics.

I love those! Makes them much more real "in terms of", "as far as" size relationships (Sorry once I started typing that I had to finish it - old inside joke) Anyway, is it just me or is there something about those shots that reminds anyone else of the gnome in Amelie? I particularly like the shot of the feet showing in the miniature bathroom. And you can never get too many shots of cool stuff, so please, post away!

Keep posting pictures...the more the better. I can't believe that bathroom in the closet. I agree with Karen this is somewhat similar to the garden gnome in Amelie :)

Ok, Again, in terms as far as pictures.... (thats for you Karen)

I will continue to post. They are what I love, and yes, Roberts is much like that gnome, only much more vocal!

Wow. That really does lend some perspective to the pix. You never realize how really big some of those places are. Again amazing photos. I think we should expect a full scale slide show presentation next time we see you! Roberta a gnome? I kind of think of her as more of a dwarf (like in Lord of the Rings).
