Water water everywhere
In spite of having mostly fine weather (little rain) the many waterfalls we saw were very lovely, and well worth the work. (unlike streams in the Western US those in the UK are fed by rain rather than snowmelt) Some falls required a refreshing hike, others involved navigating uber narrow hedge lined roads, and one took descending a long flight nearly vertical of stone "steps" called the devils staircase. Enjoyed them all.
You really are a great photographer. I love seeing all your photos and it makes me really want to go to Wales. However, the stories of driving down narrow roads doesn't sound so wonderful.
Beautiful photos. Just makes me want to go there all the more. It's been a dream of mine ever since I read books by Sharon Kay Penman. Great read for lovers of history. She has a series of 3 books about the last "King" of Wales. They are very good books. Anyway it's even more beautiful than I pictured it in my mind!
Hey, I've ready all those books myself. At least I knew how to kind of pronounce some of the words. (turns out it is a bit more complex than is explained in her books) One English lady was impressed that I knew about Edwards "ring of fire" castles that brought the end of Welsh independence. It was cool to see the places I had recently read about. You MUST go then, Miste!!!
