Abbeys and Priorys

I don't really understand the difference between and Abbey and a Priory (even though I have looked up the definitions). Apparently an Abbey has an Abbot and a Priory does not. Whew, I'm glad thats cleared up!

We saw many abbeys and priories and I really really loved the medieval architecture. I'm only including one pic from each place. (ok there are 2 of tintern abbey)
Geez, I just looked at the pics I put on and they all looks so similar. (sorry)

I think I might need to put pics on a photo sharing site. Anyone have a good suggestion of a free one?

Kelsey and Jenette, and Miste too all use Flickr, at least I think that's how it's spelled? They say it's easy to use. I've always been "going to" take the time to go and figure it out. but, it's that time factor dealio...
I love all the pics of the abbies and priories - or whatever (g. berreth :) The arches they made are amazing! Thanks for posting em.

I love these pictures probably more than the castle ones. I love the abbrioys. There I combined the word so there will be no more confusion. :) I like Flickr a lot but honestly signed up for the first free I stumbled upon so their might be better ones. Good luck!

I actually used Picassa. That seems to work well and it is really easy. It is also a free photo re-touching, cropping, etc. service but you are such and Adobe expert you wouldn't need that. That's how I sent the photos from Wildhorse this summer.
