Another gem from the packrat pile. Once again I was looking for a different picture, but found this instead. I was talking to Kelsey not too long ago about Chloe and her love of bangles and dressing up. Kelsey, not being a frilly frou adult, said Chloe didn't get it from her. Well, turns out almost every little girl (and little boy) like to dress up and imagine they are something else. I will never forget Kelsey's grocery bag outfit she made at around age 5?
Top, skirt, complete with shoes. It was soooo funny.
So, turns out the apple didn't fall too far from the tree.

Once again, I remeber the clothing and the child at that age - but not the photo. I must have dumped my kids in your lap on a regular basis... Thanks for being such a wonderful aunt and influence in their lives.
You DO make a difference, no matter the age of the child. I am going to dig out the photo album and scan in a photo of Miss Kelsey in said plastic bag outfit.
I actually did recognize myself in that photo. But oddly enough, I think Chloe looks more like me in that photo than in the other one. I've seen her give me that same look on many occasions.
And I remember making the plastic bag outfit. I wasn't trying to be funny and I didn't expect my outfit to get laughs. I pretty much just thought it seemed like a good idea to use plastic Waremart bags for clothing. They were white, like angels. Who doesn't like angels?
How cute. I agree that Chloe looks a lot like this picture. I can't wait to see the bag outfit.
That didn't look like Kelsey at all to me for some reason. The every girl "and boy" comment did make me think however, because Spencer LOVED to dress up as a little kid. I can't tell you how many pictures I have of him dressed up. I don't think I will post any of them at this point however. It's a part of his life he is trying to put behind him. That and the playing with Barbies bit.
