The summer is almost over for me... well vactionwise. Weather wise I'm headed for 3 more months of hellish heat.
Had a nice time at Redfish with family (see Alli's site as I'm sure she will have lots of pics)
I'm including some pictures of the trees that blew down in the area. The point is almost unrecognizable. You can see from the beach up to the campground with few trees in between.
The same is true from the road into the Glacier campground loop.
Amazingly it is still pretty there.

That's bizarre! It is pretty, but so different. Change is inevitable but that doesn't mean we like it.
It was grand to see you for a bit. I'm with you about the sadness of seeing summer end. Went way too fast.
Holy cow, I can't believe how different it looks. I think I'm sad summer is over, but my kids are starting to pick at each other, so it's time for school.
I took pictures too. When you first drive in you don't realize how bad it is until you see how much you can see through the trees (the campground from the road and the parking lot from the beach). Pretty amazing.
WOW! What a change...I don't want to think about it :( Summer flew by fast for me, too....it always does!
