Talent show

I'm on a 5 hour layover in the Denver airport on my way back from Colfax. Time flew, but it was great to visit.

Family night on Monday finished my visit with a bang. After a hilarious night last week of watching Leah and Kimberly try to learn the "Thriller" moves from the video I have on my computer I told them I would provide prizes if they had a talent night. Kimberly decided to have it for family night since she was in charge.

Bruce juggled, Kimberly and Leah did their "Thriller" moves together. (they also did individual talents including Dance Dance Revolution and Mexican dancing)
James performed several Kung Fu and Star Wars fighting demonstrations and Aleta and I sang the song "Barges" in home made paper hats.

It was a funny night. James was most obsessed with the prizes and asked after every performance if it was time to get them yet.

He is shown here using his new toy magnetic fishing pole, about which he was very excited.

Well, back to the heat and the reality of the job!!'

That sounds like so much fun. We taught our Young Women "Thriller" last June for the ward talent show. We dressed up and everything. It provided some comic relief in with all those serious talents.

OK. So who IS that blonde girl in the sombrero?!? That SO looks like some weird morhp of Kim and... I just don't know who, but not just Kim! (yeah, I know it's her, it's just Well I already said it). What a fun activity. I'm "guessing" that "perhaps" James may have won something as I'm sure his skills are even better than Napoleon Dynamite. Glad you made it home safely.Sorry it went so fast. The good things seem to do that eh?
