I'm assuming mixing cement was not high on Spencer's vacation list, but he certainly was a trooper about it!
He came for a few days visit before the family camping reunion, and helped me with an edging project that turned into a bit of a train wreck. (I'm now rabidly against ready mix cement and that is all I'm going to say)
Here are a few pictures of the project in progress (thanks to Spencer). I'll post the final project another day.
The most enjoyable part was stamping our initials into the cement.
A HUGE thanks to Spencer the resident slave labor for the project. He never complained...not even once.

Whether it's "perfect" or not - it should be grand to have it done eh? Your grass looks lovely and I'm envious of your hostas. I can never get them to grow...?
He never complained to me either. He had fun despite himself. He's quite proud of that project actually.
Also, good you posted these. Spencer had already deleted these from his camera and I hadn't saved them. He will be glad I saved them off your post!
