Everyone here was sick of the rain. I hated saying I didn't mind it... but I didn't. After months of sweltering heat and dry pea gravel yards the rain felt great.
On tuesday I took mom out for a little drive up to Wildhorse since it was the second rain free day in a row. The sky was crystal clear and it was a great afternoon. (all except the part where mom couldn't get enough air... she is ok now) Pictures included.
Anyway, the next rain free day was a fun gathering at my little house for a BBQ in honor of Jaron and Jeannette who come up from Virginia.
Food, silliness and much talking ensued. Short, but great to see them. Sorry I didn't get any pictures of them and their cutie baby Jayden.
In short I enjoyed the rain, but am glad to have had a few days without too.

Thanks sooo much for hosting the get together.Your backyard was the perfect spot. J&J really enjoyed the visit with you and the rest of the clan. Wish it could have been longer, but at least we got together.
