Home again home again.
Lots of pictures...again too hard to edit.
The 2day drive back from Jentel was full of many things; sun, rain, snow, twisty roads, tears of melancholy, laughter with good friends.
The circuitous route is often more interesting than the direct one, and in this case, it was a route I had not been on. In spite of the rain I drove over the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway from Cody into the NE entrance to Yellowstone Park. It was a stunning drive with huge panoramic vistas, that really looks small and inconsequential in the pictures. Spent the night at a cabin in Canyon village with Manya one of the residents from Jentel.
The next morning I did quick little jaunt to the views of the Yellowstone river falls then headed out so I would have time to visit with the Fransons in Rexburg.
Got home around 8pm and managed to unload the truck in a respite from the rain.
hmmmm? now what?

Now what indeed! Looks like you have your priorities straight - Posting!!! Those are some beautiful shots. I know what you mean about taking shots of magnificent things that turn out looking small and inconsequential. I'm glad you had a great trip and even more glad (gladder?) you're home - to do "whatever".
Wow! A nice reminder of why we live in & love the West! Inconsequential? I think not. I'm sure they don't do the reality justice but they are beautiful nevertheless!
Gorgeous! Nothing like the great outdoors. Now what? Whatever you'd like :)
