ve been curious about the waning blogging by my family and friend bloggers. It seems to have
happened all at once.I asked myself..Is it a seasonal thing? Has the blogging fad faded and everyone is busy tweeting? Should I really break down and open my soul to Facebook and the b
arrage of students requesting my friendship?Reading the blogs has really been a bright spot for me while I'm away from family and in the thick of work, so I truly do miss everyone's pondering and pictures. Then I thought, I'm the pot talking about the kettle, I haven't posted in a month. Only fair if I want to see posts, that I post.

While I harbor no illusions that my meager before and after post here will inspire posting by those too busy, disenchanted, or "so over" blogging, I can let you all know I miss seeing your pictures and words. (And am sooo excited Miss Desiree has begun blogging!)
In the before and after tradition established by Miss Kelsey I am posting one more set of pictures from the summer.
A before and after of my livingroom/kitchen wall. I knocked the wall down 2 years ago, and just had it re-framed in this summer.
The other is a before and after of a chair. Pay attention to the little skirted chair at the back of the room. In an OCD fit I stayed up till 4am re-covering it last summer the night before guests were coming to the house. Long story.
Ok, nothing too earth shattering, but a little peek into my world. Can't wait to peek into yours.

ah geez. Ever since I went private with my blog, I just can't seem to keep up with it anymore. I don't know why. It doesn't help that I suck at transferring pics from my camera with my mac. I'll need a tutorial some day. It seems to be a long, arduous process.
And I admit, I've been much more into facebook lately. But I've even stopped writing there. For your sake, because I love you, and it's good to hear someone misses my posts, I'm going to try and do better!
Your living room is coming together quite nicely, might I add.
Maybe you're not talking directly to me-- why flatter myself-- BUT I have been feeling like a slacker of late.
Excuses: building a house, to pooped to even think straight let alone come up with anything interesting to say, house pictures are forth coming-- but again that would require a few minutes and a bit of energy, nothing note worthy with the house-- other than sheetrock going in this week and painting to start early next-- pictures would start looking the same from the outside and who wants to stare at my house over and over day after day? -- besides me...
I'll try to be more diligent with my blogging...thanks for the gentle reminder...
I think your house is sooo cute! Some day I need you to come and figure our what I can do with my drab house. But, until then I am just going to keep letting my kids tear it apart. LOVE YOU!
Ahh... there's nothing like tearing out a wall eh? The chair turned out ever so lovely and really brings all the pieces together. I feel no guilt about posting as I seem to have gone beserker with photos the last couple of posts. But, I too noticed the lack of new posts (yes, I noticed your's too :0)And lamented and wondered the same things as you. But, I'n THRILLED to see Miss Desiree in the loop!
Love your before and after pictures. I will do better I promise to have a new post by Sunday.
I love the chair. Upholstery is on my to-do list!
I put up some images of the patio etc.
two words.....crazy summer :P
Life seems to be calming down a bit so I will be posting more often...nice to know someone does read and enjoy the blog....I think I've got a few silent watchers and what can I say...it's nice to have feedback :)
