From the Air
This post is for Gordon.
I told him I wanted to see Lake Creek (see post below) from the air so I could envision how all those lakes we saw went together and how their drainage works.
The internet can be an amazing tool... here it is.
Wow! That's pretty cool. At first I thought you had posted some cool textural thing and then I read... It is one thing to drive into those lakes risking life and limb on crazy rocky roads and another to see it from the air.Having been there many times it's interesting to see another perspective. Nifty. Thanks for finding that and sharing.
Looks like you found Google Maps. If you have a high-speed internet connection there is a Google Earth program you can install that has the same satellite imagery and also allows you to pan and zoom the terrain in 3D.

I need to find out where that it is-- assuming it is "up-home" somewhere... right? hoping for another beautiful vacation in that area this year.
