One More Hurrah

And it was a great one!

I leave for Tucson tomorrow, but am making one last quicky post from a great day yesterday.

Gordon and Peggy have been so great to invite me on some outings with them, and yesterday was the ultimate. A 4 wheeling and hiking bonanza on the Lake Creek trail.

Hail, snow, sun, but no rain. It was a strange weather day, but I loved every minute. Ok, except the minute where my 4wheeler nearly tipped over...but other than that.

Thanks for a wonderful day you silent watchers!

I'll look at the pictures from yesterday all through the coming months of heat in Tucson and think what a glorious day.

Hopefully Gordon will post some of his pictures which are fab as always. Until then here are some of mine.

Wow! Strange weather indeed! We haven't been up to the Lake creek area for awhile. It looks like there are a fair amount of dead trees there now? You got some lovely shots. Some really clear water reflections. The Lake creek area is another favorite (and not just because you can go into it on a 4 wheeler though that IS a bonus!)I too have had a few heart stopping near misses on my 4 wheeler on that trail so know exactly what you're talking about. See you on your way back to your cold fusion studies...

Those are incredible photos. It's good you will have that memory to carry with you and what a great one it is! Sounds like a great day!
