In between Kevin's visit and getting spots for the Wildhorse reunion I squeezed in a great 4 wheeler day trip with Gordon and Peggy to the Pahsimeroi. (spelling in question)
The first part of the ride the air was literally dripping with sweet lupine perfume and the ground on either side of the road was packed with them. (hopefully Gordon will post some great pictures from this)
We endured a major downpour in which I ripped to shreds a rain cape Peggy lent me then continued on to the West fork of the Pahsimeroi. (ok, it could have been the east... I've already forgotten!)
It was a beautiful ride and I loved all of it... even the soggy shoes.
I'm soo lucky they invite me!

Wow! That does look gorgeous. I'm glad you got to go even with the drenching it sounds like it was an unforgettable trip. The wildflowers this year are really stunning.
They do go and see some amazing things! Those pictures look so pretty. Glad you enjoyed it despite the drenching conditions :(
