Mary and Me

The conference was swell. Lots of panels, demonstrations and discussion of cold fusion.
And loads of walking. Nearly 10 miles on the day of the MTM visit alone.

Really.

Not exactly how I wanted to spend my birthday, but Kathy is a consummate walker and I knew what I might be getting into. Check out her gams next to MTM. It was some fast walking for me. Other than the shin splints the next day I honestly didn't mind too much.

Speaking of Mary...

If you're in Minneapolis you can find her at 6th and Nicolette. The guy behind the desk at the hotel knew the location of her statue right off the top of his head. People must ask a lot. Who knew?

Mary wasn't the peak of the trip, but it was a funny highlight. I'm back in the Ol Pueblo now and the romance of the MTM city nothing but a distant dream. Heavy sigh. (:

BUT...My tummy has been improving, the weather is beginning to cool, and after this week the worst of the work deadlines is over... I might just make it after all.

I know, I Know! I ended my other post with those lyrics, but I didn't know it would work better in this one. Plus, I've actually been watching the MTM show on Hulu and that song is a sticker.

Strange days for sure.

Oh that is a cute photo of you! Your smile reminds me of when you were about 6 years old (maybe that's the smile you had the day you had the day of the white go-go boots? :0)
Was lovely to visit a bit last night. Glad to hear the tummy rumblings have setteled for a bit. And it's grand to be on the downhill side with something to look forward to eh?
Let me know if you actually can watch the That Girl...
fun times indeed!

I just can't believe you allowed not only a picture to be taken of you, but that you posted it. I love you man! Supper cute.

I think your tummy is getting better because you are starting to get less stress, just a theory. Stress does cause these things to become worse, believe me I know.

On a lighter note I finally figured out what cold fusion was. Hope that makes you laugh. Yeah I'm a little slow, but then I was never very good with things that are really obvious. Love you!

Yeah, I guess des was a late blog bloomer. I laugh, but I wouldn't have figured it out on my own either, hehe. My thoughts were the same, I love the picture! So glad this was a better trip than the last, hope the luck keeps up for you! Love ya!

I agree with Des. Thanks for putting on that picture. You look great. I'm so glad you are feeling better, hope the stress continues to subside. Glad you had a great trip. When can I get you to a conference on cold fusion at USU?
