Yucatan Glamour

Our "down day" after the long day was cool and a bit rainy. We had a "free" breakfast at the El Cid resort and then spent 90 minutes touring the resort and listening to Eric's sales pitch. A Mexican vacation tradition I was hoping to skip, the condo investment pitch. I'd heard of them, and was prepared with no no no. After many no no no's and the bribery for attending increasing.... hmmmm $225 toward my rental car? Wait a minute. Ok, so we went. And yes we DID get $225.

Still not sure it was worth the price!

Anyway, in the afternoon I took the girls on a "glamour" photo shoot. In the end it was really all about the flowers. Two beautiful girls...but who were both sooo self aware, it made for some funny pictures. There are a few keepers though, and I included those. Totally had to resist putting on tons of really funny ones.

I think the best shot of the day is the two of them in the "Staff Only" area that we passed every day on the way to our car.

They certainly are glamor girls! How fun. Not so sure about the vacation condo sales pitch though but if you netted $225 then so much the better.

Ahhh yes. The condo sales pitch...It must work for them some of the time or they wouldn't fork out so much time and moolah to rope people in.
As for the photo shoot. You did a good job operating under the constraints of working with teens who have had their photo taken approximately 3 billion times (for some teens that's not really much of an exaggeration)and stereotypical poses they tend to assume.
But then, who am I to say anything? I've been known to assume a cheesy pose on occasion myself.
Anywho, well done.
