Ginger Boy Visits

"You know that someday someone is just going to beat the crap out of you, right?" I asked.

"Yeah.. pretty much" he replied.

This conversation took place on the last night of Spencer's visit to the Ol Pueblo, and following a barrage of particularly sarcastic banter.

He may have been extra full of spit and vinegar having spent the day inside my house while I attended a marathon day of meetings. Other than the day of being cooped up I think his visit was fun for him, and it was enjoyable for me to pick on someone other than my students for a change.

Since I was working we only got one day of actual activities outside of school, but I'm including some classic shots here.

Most important are the photoshop images, included here strictly for their embarrassing factor. He questioned my ability to use my stolen shots of him for such purposes, and then seemed particularly shamed as he watched himself transform into the longhaired Durer. Suddenly the butterfly didn't seem so bad.

So, Spencer in his photoshop glory, along with shots of the butterfly gardens, San Xavier Mission, the Barrio, and the night sunset at Gates Pass.

If any of the pictures seem attractive to you, or appealing in any way, Spencer will inform you they are his. If, on the other hand the quality seems lacking, well obviously those shots are mine.

He DID have a good time! He was showing pictures from the visit to our friends who came for Tucker's b-day tonight. In fact, he was asking me if you had e-mailed me the photoshopped butterflies because he wanted to show them to Steph. He enoyed his visit very much. I will have to show him your blog tomorrow as he is out at a youth dance tonight.

Fun Fun. Thats awesome that he got to spend some time with you. By the way, I'm totally jealous that you are going to Hawaii and completely happy that you helped sooooo much.

What? You are going to Hawaii? Is that the secret grandma couldn't tell? Do tell.

Oh if wishing got me anywhere I would come and visit you. I would also go to Hawaii, and on a cruise to Mexico with my in laws, and to Mexico with my mom and dad.

I am glad the Spencer came to see you. Can I just say I didn't even realize that butterfly had his head on it!
