Exactly how much can it rain in 48 hours? Enough to make your plane circle for an hour before landing, make enough noise to deafen your conversation and make normally calm beaches raging torrents of brown. In spite of this we have managed to pack in some great stuff. (in my opinion)
The pictures here are from both Gordon and me and are a sampling of our first two days. Too complicated to explain it all, and it is likely photo overload.
Supposedly more sun tomorrow, so we are looking forward to being a bit less soaked all the time.

This is SO great to get an update before you're even home!!! From the pictures...it looks unbelievable. No lack of water, eh? Sounds like you all were able to conquer it, though :)
I'm crossing my fingers for some sunshine!!!
Im excited to show the kids when they get home from school today....thanks, again!
AMAZING!!!
I KNEW you would get some incredible photos from both of you - and you deliver! So colorful, gorgeous, exotic - even the chicken.
Can't wait to see how the rest of the trip unfolds.
There are worse things than wet. But, I do hope you get some good weather while you're there.
I'm looking forward to seeing you on the flip side.
ENJOY!
Bummer that it is raining. Hope you get some sunshine to enjoy. Gorgeous photos. Helicopter rides are way cool. Hope you are having fun despite the abundance of water!
