So, I'm well off the ol 10 day goal, but have loads of seemingly good excuses. Lots of traveling, sleep deprivation, tummy troubles, work fiascos and sore tailbones in the last few weeks, but I'm happy to report I'm safely stashed in the Northern cottage and pretending I have no responsibilities.
Went on a nice little ride with P and G up Wildhorse on Sunday and was actually really happy to see all the beautiful snow since I always miss this springy stage of weather up here.
I know I know.. it has been a super gray and long winter/spring for all here, but honestly it was nice for a "snowbird" like me to see just a bit of it.
Ok.. that was enough and hopefully the sun will soon follow.
(:

I'm as tired of the gray as the next one - but I have to say there are some mighty lovely GREEN hills this year. And our creek is rip roaring. We went out last weekend in the testosterone golf cart and saw some great greenery lightly covered with snow. The light was clear and gorgeous and in spite of the cold it was lovely.
I hope the tummy troubles are fading.
Glad to hear you are in your Northern Cottage :) You've been a busy bee! Maybe some down time will help with the tummy...hope so.
Glad you made it north safely. It must be lovely to pretend to have no responsibilities--at least for the short term. I'm sure it is nice to be there no matter what the weather!
