Details No one Wants (IF SQUEAMISH DON"T READ)

It has been a rough week for me health wise. I was sure I had some gluten contamination last week while hosting a job candidate, and had "celiac stomach" all last weekend. Then, BAM, monday night and all day tuesday nasty stomach, fever, and watery bowels. It was a really painful day and at that point I was convinced I had some sort of food poisoning on top of the celiac stomach. 24hours of liquids and I think I'm on the mend, fever down, etc. So last night I ate some rice.
BIG mistake. I have been paying for that since 5am.

Why share all of this? Um, well, I feel like crap, I've had to cancel all my classes, I'm supposed to fly to Spokane in the morning and I'm not sure if I can make the flight without filling my shorts with watery goo...... and mostly it is no fun to be sick. Sick alone is even worse. I'm really freaked out about traveling tomorrow. I'm having nothing but liquids for sure!

After re-reading all the sites that compare flu to food poisoning I really have no clue which it could be. The symptoms can be identical, as long lasting and in general the treatment is to stay hydrated.
SO, that is what I'm concentrating on today. Hydration.
Meanwhile, I thought some of the images of stomach pain viruses were quite attractive.

It looks like a tapeworm; are you sure you got the right picture?

I hope you feel better, soon, and can travel. Dang.

Yoiks! That sounds AWFUL!!! It IS the pits being sick, and even worse being sick alone. I'm sorry I can't come and be there to help. Even if it's only to tell you lame jokes, and bring you a fresh, damp cloth for your head. Does it help any to know that if I could be there I would? Probably not. But I would!
The visuals are very colorful. I imagine there will be some prints at some future date with some of those lovely organic lines in them...
Take care and Get better!

The pictures are of food poisoning stuff. But I agree it does look a bit like a tapeworm or something.

It DOES make me feel a bit better knowing you would help. YOu have been there to help when I am sick a few too many times poor thing, but I am forever grateful!

Hopefully, I'll make it through the flights tomorrow. I never so little stuff could take so long to come out, and in soooo many squirts.

I hope you made it to Aleta's yesterday. Sorry about the loose bowels. How awful for you! No fun. I hope you are at Aleta's and feeling better.

There is a flu that has been going around here. A friend of mine called her doctor and the nurse said not to eat or drink anything for three hours. She hung up and we decided that she was crazy. Who tells you to not at least drink. Turns out she was right. Every time her little one ate or drank ANYTHING she threw up. She finally gave in and went the three hours with out solids or fluids. Then you slowly introduce, and only take in a little at a time. Adults that didn't throw up had the same result as you. The other rotten thing about this virus is that is will make you think that you are better and then hit you again. I know people that had it for over a week! It knocked our ward out. Hopefully you are already feeling better and this not what you have. If you are still sick, hope this helps!! Almost to good to be true that you would survive Wyoming (traveling) without getting sick huh:) I am so sorry. Hope you feel better and can enjoy your trip!

Ok, what Alli describes is certainly what I have had!

I finally went 48hours with no food at all, and then the last 8 hours with no liquid. I'm finally done and alive.

Thanks for your love and support!!
