In spite of many dreams to the contrary I am (to the best of my knowledge) tick free.
Whew.
Back in Tucson and through my first day of school. Apologies to several people who called me. Aside from being sick (bronchitis they told me at urgent care) I managed to lose my phone charger and kept leaving it in my truck where I had a car charger.
I'm on the mend... have found the charger and am pretending to be unaffected by the heat. (actually its been rather temperate for here the last two days)
My only picture to include is one of the tree in front of my little studio house here. There must have been some crazy storms and it is way tipped over and has broken one of the stakes attached to it. Yeah, exciting times here in the desert. It's not going to get much better for a while.
(note the cardboard in the window....my attempt to block out ALL sun rays from entering and heating up the place like an easy bake oven)
To answer some questions..... still renting and trying to save cash for downp ayment on a condo.
While it IS an adventure to live in a Barbie dream house I find my enjoyment waning. I need to suck it up and find something to buy.... heavy sigh.

I'd been wondering how things were going. Glad to hear you are surviving, though wheezing. My condolences on the heat, and housing frustrations. I Hope at least you're classes are off to a good start.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Hope your classes are going well and you have a few students you will enjoy. How did the bird prints you were working on last summer turn out? I have been curious.
