Whahooo! At 12:30pm today my purchase of a home in Tucson was recorded and became official.
Two days late, but finally done! The ownership thing certainly hasn't sunken in.
Between looking for appliances on Craigslist, bed shopping, teaching, reporting suicidal students, herding un-herdable colleagues, signing paper, packing, cleaning, cooking.. blah blah.. it isn't real.
I spent a little time there today and I have to say it still felt really good. (especially now that Roberta has begun her cleaning magic)
Still working on coordinating the big move on Saturday morning.
Too tired to write much more, but knew my ardent followers would be dying to know. (kidding)

Exactly right! I WAS dying to know. Whew! That's one thing off the list. Isn't it amazing how when you finish one thing three pop up to replace it. Glad you have Bert there to help. She is a wonder.

House hunting sucks, but when it's the right one, it's the right one. I can't wait to see it. Sure it might be when my kids are grown and out of the house, but so what.
