No work details.
No cold fusion images.
I'm too embarrassed to show all my chair fetish purchases.
My rant at bagging clerk who didn't speak English, although somewhat warranted, is also slightly embarrassing. (FYI she piled a bag of apples on top of my expensive heirloom tomatoes...do you need English to know that is a dumb move?)
Anyway..
All the things I avoid discussing here means sometimes I don't have much to say.
I could tell you about the uber documents I have to write, or daily work personality mini dramas. But mostly I read other blogs and post to escape those things.
Determined to keep my 7-10 day posting promise... (all in hopes of in return reading YOUR new posts) I have ferreted out these few safe, and not too embarrassing tidbits.
-My new to me kitchen table. It is old and cracked and I LOVE it. (yes that is a chair by it... I have no comment there)
-I've been tinkering with my living room and wanted to show Peggy I used her pant hanger idea for hanging a huge woodcut I've never managed to frame.
-Two super cute fans.(part of the living room tinker) The small one I got this summer @ Lew Green's social event garage sale for $5, and the large one was sent to me by Kevin Hall as a thank you after he visited. (very observant of Kevin I thought)
If I'm honest, a good tinker is really what I enjoy most. Painting a bit of this, moving around that, building this, taking apart that.
Wish there was a paying tinkering gig. Until then, I'll keep avoiding my reality (when possible) and you'll be stuck with some random tinkering posts.

Looks like the fans found a nice home. I wish I could tinker and have things look that together. I suppose if I was to say I am a "clutterer" or "stacker" or better yet just a procrastinator about everything so it just stacks up. I don't post often either because it seems like there is really nothing that interesting to tell. Spencer will tell you that we are a boring family that NEVER does anything.
Looks really cute, and I LOVE those fans.
Wow! I want you to come and tinker at my house! Those look like photos from a designer magazine Missy!
I also love how the sidebar color of your blog is the same as the colors of your walls :0)
You are so together. If I didn't love you- I'd have to hate you...
We are alike in the avoiding what needs to be done category and not having anything really exciting to post...
But, I'll work on something if I can get a free night.
Love your "tinkering" - love you!
I'm avoiding the blog. Aaaah. I'm sorry. I think you're house looks great and I like the little fans.
That's it I am going to take pictures of my house, it will make you feel like you are amazing. Not that you aren't.
